Hallifax is a strong, dynamic company, headed by Managing Director Rick Hallifax. The son of Peter Hallifax who established the business in 1957, Rick has grown the company to over 30 employees. Our reputation for reliability comes from a commitment to traditional values, our vision of delivering excellence in all aspects of the business and the outstanding effort of our staff.

Based in Christchurch, the Hallifax team incorporates a talented product development team and inhouse art studio, professional admin and customer support personnel, plus a dedicated production and warehouse crew who run the 2 onsite warehouses. Together with 6 full-time sales staff located in New Zealand's major tourist centres, the Hallifax team supply hundreds of products every week to retail customers throughout the country. We also export product to a growing number of international clientele.

We cater for a diverse range of tastes within New Zealand's international tourist market. Our extensive range of products includes leading brands such as Alpine Silk skincare, Kiwi & Friends soft toys and Kiwi Silver apparel. A focus on meeting the demand from more discerning customers has been one of the keys to the popularity of our products. Ongoing refinement and improvement of our range ensures Hallifax remains at the forefront of our industry and that our retail partners share in our success.

2007 marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of our company by Peter Hallifax. Over the years we've grown and developed a comprehensive range of products that are now enjoyed by people from every corner of the globe. Our 8 brand categories include the internationally popular Alpine Silk Lanolin skin care range which is now sold in Hawaii, Guam, Tahiti, Australia and China.
